200! Celebrating The Top Films Of Total Film’s Lifetime

October 26, 2012 by Simon Kinnear in On Tour with 0 Comments

The 200th issue of Total Film is out today, and to celebrate the magazine polled its writers on our favourite films made during the magazine’s lifetime, ie since 1997.

Click here to see the Top 50, which feels pretty authoritative to me. For greater diversity, you can also read the writers’ individual lists. Mine is on page 6, if you want a laugh. Suffice to say, my #1 choice (pictured above) didn’t make the shortlist.

And that’s not all. Buy the issue itself and you can read big, 4 & 5* reviews from yours truly on:

My Brother, The Devil
Ray Harryhausen: Special Effects Titan
The Untouchables
Glengarry Glen Ross

Here’s to the next 200 issues of Total Film. Cheers!
